Host an Exchange Participant

Hosting an international participant through the Colorado Chapter of Partners of the Americas will be a life-changing experience! Host families play a vital role in creating a welcoming, meaningful cross-cultural experience for visiting participants during their U.S. exchange.

About the Participants

Participants are emerging professionals and graduate-level students from:

  • Ecuador

  • Argentina

  • Peru

  • Bolivia

They are selected to participate in a U.S. Department of State–sponsored exchange program focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), with an emphasis on research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration.

What the Program Provides

The program covers:

  • Daily transportation to all official academic and cultural activities

  • Meals during scheduled program days

  • A full itinerary and on-site coordination

  • 24/7 staff and emergency support throughout the stay
